Troops Shooting Hoops
Troopers from the State Police Bridgeton Barracks teamed up with the Cumberland Regional High School Girls and Boys basketball teams in a friendly competition to support the Hug-A-Bear Foundation.
Hug-A-Bear is a foundation that gives children who have witnessed traumatic situations a small teddy bear to provide them with a sense of comfort and security.
All proceeds generated from the basketball game will help the Hug-A-Bear Foundation to equip Troop Cars with duffle bags full of teddy bears to give to a child who experiences a heartbreaking situation.
Although the Troopers won the game 41 to 36, the real winners are the men and women of the Hug-A-Bear Foundation who volunteer their time and services for a great cause!
Job well done by all involved!
