Welcome to the Cumberland County Law Enforcement Advisory and Planning Board's
"Community Engagement Series"

Proudly Presented by:
The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office and Its Partners

Cumberland County Law Enforcement, our community leaders and I would like to welcome you to the Cumberland County Law Enforcement Advisory Board's "Community Engagement Series" (CES). During the course of 2016, the CES will be holding a series of meetings and gatherings where our law enforcement officials and our community can discuss topics and subjects that effect us all. These meetings are meant to open the lines of communication, educate the public and inform our law enforcement community about the issues we all face today. I encourage you to participate in these meetings as we all work toward a better future for Cumberland County.

Jennifer Webb-McRae
Cumberland County Prosecutor

The C.E.S. Mission

The Community Engagement Series (CES) meetings will be held bi-monthly at the Cumberland County College - Luciano Center, starting in January of 2016. Each meeting will be hosted by the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office with the support of its CES partners. Attendees will include members of law enforcement, community leaders, educators and special guests. Many topics will be discussed and ideas will be shared to include:

✔ Use of Force Investigations
✔ Internal Affairs
✔ Community Policing
✔ Criminal Investigations
✔ Gangs, Guns and Drugs
✔ Critical Incidents
✔ Media Relations
✔ Law Enforcement Hiring Practices
✔ Incarceration and Re-Entry

The CES offers an excellent opportunity for the community to learn about the challenges law enforcement face today and for law enforcement to learn more about the public's needs as well as address any current perceptions of law enforcement in our community.
